Alfredo Bravo's Palitos

A new gourmet, all natural snack.

The History of Alfredo Bravo's Palitos™

In 1982 Alfredo Bravo began his career as a baker by opening his first, very small bakery called La Panaderia in La Molina, a very exclusive residential area of Lima, Peru. From the beginning he specialized in making special breads like croissants, brioche and gourmet rolls filled with olives, nuts and poppy seeds.

1983 saw the first batches of a new gourmet snack called Palitos or little sticks by the locals. Garlic was the original flavor, but over time Bran Sesame, Natural, Natural Sesame, Cheese, Ginger, Onion and Oregano became popular flavors throughout Peru. Recently two new flavors, Hot Pepper (Rocoto) and Sweet Maca have been introduced.

For more than 20 years Alfredo Bravo has dedicated himself to creating and commercializing gourmet products of the highest quality. Alfredo Bravo's Palitos are made with only the best, 100% natural ingredients including organic cocoa butter and honey without any preservatives, flavoring or artificial colors.

Since 1991 Palitos have been distributed in Wong supermarkets throughout Peru. Today Santa Isabela markets also sell them and many hotels, restaurants, caterers and clubs serve Alfredo Bravo's Palitos to their most demanding clientele.

In 2005 Alfredo Bravo created PANES Y PALITOS SAC as the sole producer of products from La Patisserie for the local and export market. We are now locating importers of these gourmet snacks for Europe and North America.
